My public apology...

shame [sheym] Pronunciation Key noun, verb, shamed, sham·ing. –noun
1.the painful feeling arising from the consciousness of something dishonorable, improper, ridiculous, etc., done by oneself or another: She was overcome with shame.

I'm 38, a mother of three amazing little girls and the wife of an incredible man...and I still manage to drink too much and make a fool out of myself.

I am truly sorry to those of you that I offended.

I do think that so many of us had a great time...I truly hope so! I will post photos when I get them from Bean.

Again, I'm sorry.

Melissa Belz

I won't be able to attend the reunion, so I thought I'd send a family photo for the slide show. It was taken at a luau we went to while in Kauai, Hawaii this past December. My mom was traveling with us, so she's in the photo as well. From left to right: my mom, my son (Aaron), my husband (Ray), myself, my daughter (Kiara). By the way, I'm wearing 5" heals, which is why I look like a giant next to everyone ;)

Hope you all have a wonderful time, and that the reunion finds everyone healthy and happy!

Melissa (Belz) Messore

Meagan Hoff

My name was Meagan Amanda Hoff. My married name is Meagan Amanda McIlroy-Hoff.
I'm married to a Kiwi- Andrew Ian McIlroy.
We have two kids- Devon Andrew Paradis Hoff -a boy,aged-10- and Abby Meadow Hoff McIlroy- a girl, aged 4.
We also have a black lab/huntaway cross dog-Mika, three cats-Snowy, Motor, and Ditch, five chickens, and the occasional pet pigs, lambs, calves and even a goat for awhile.
I met Andrew while holidaying in NZ in 1996. We dated long-distance for 2 years (I had to go back to the states to finish my teaching degree). Then I came back to NZ in 1999 and we got married.
My happiest times over the past 20 years-moving to beautiful New Zealand, the births of my kids (the little buggers both made me sick, so boy was I happy to get them out:), my wedding, finishing my degrees in drama and elementary education, buying my home- pretty typical I guess, it's funny what you think will make you happy when you're young and what really ends up mattering when you look back.
What am I proud to have accomplished-raising my kids (it really is amazing how much you love your kids!), working at my marriage (who knew married was such an ongoing process), and being a good teacher. I currently work with a little girl with quite severe cerebral palsey. I am so proud of her. I have been working with her since she was 7 (she's now 9) and when I met her she could only recognize up to the number 8 and had very poor reading and writing skills-she is now working on par with her peers. She is a phenomenal kid!
Hobbies, etc.-I'm a part-time teacher, full on mum, and highly involved with our little community (population about 600).
What do you I like to do for fun- visit friends, traveling around New Zealand, playing with my kids (and husband), taking my dog for walks around the lake, kayaking, going to the movies and cafes on my own on my "mommy day-off".
What are my best memories of WHS-Hanging out with my friends (Kristina, Tammy, Colleen, Samantha, Sandy, Sue, Catherine, Dan, Steve, Darron, Jeff, Sam, Di Blanchard), dances, webweavers, Mrs. Cumber, plays, Mrs. Dyer, Mrs. Mckee, Track, senior class trip, AFS trip to Conneticut
Are there songs, movies, etc that remind me of WHS-Anything Air Supply, Eagles, Stand by me, The Wall, Don't forget about me, The Breakfast Club, Caddy Shack, The lake, Kristina Freeman's camp in Wayne.
I would love to hear from anyone that might like to get in touch, but as I said I don't have regular access to the net, but I will try. If any one knows how to reach Catherine Evison (The exchange student from New Zealand our senior year) I would love to reach her. It seems ridiculous that I now live in New Zealand and don't know how to reach her.
